The Smokin' Tuna Saloon glows at night at the historic Robert Curry Mansion, 313 Duval Street, Key West

Smokin' Tuna Saloon returns to anchor Key West race week party

The Smokin' Tuna Saloon, long a fixture of Key West's offshore racing scene, has found a new home, and Race World Offshore has confirmed it as an official partner for the 2026 Key West World Championships. The venue will host the event's welcome party.

The Tuna has shifted premises to 313 Duval Street, taking over the historic Robert Curry Mansion. The new site is larger than the old haunt, with multiple bars, an open-air courtyard, a live music stage and a second-floor balcony overlooking Duval Street.

For race teams and crews arriving in Key West, the venue will serve as a hub for the week. Sponsors, fans and visitors are welcome too.

The official Race World Offshore party at the venue is set for Monday, November 2, the date that kicks off race week in Key West. It is the traditional season finale for Race World Offshore and one of the most-watched fixtures on the international offshore powerboat calendar.

Organisers say the Tuna's return will boost the event's social side as much as the racing itself. Live music, island-inspired food and drinks are promised throughout the week, not just on the Monday night party.

Fast boats, cold drinks, and what organisers are billing as the unmistakable energy that made the Tuna a Key West favourite.

Further details on the broader Key West World Championships schedule for 2026 are expected as the event draws closer. For now, the confirmation locks in one of race week's social anchors well ahead of the racing itself.
