Key West rental firm joins race logistics for 2026 titles

2 min read

Race World Offshore has signed Key West Adventures as its latest commercial partner for next year's Key West World Championships.

Key West Adventures runs island rentals out of Key West, Florida, covering everything from Jeep Wranglers and compact SUVs to convertible Mini Coopers and golf carts. It's the kind of local operator that offshore powerboat crowds rely on once they land in the Keys for race week, whether that's getting a chase crew around the island or simply finding a set of wheels between dock calls.

The company isn't limited to rentals, though. Its sales arm deals in new and used golf carts alongside a range of quality pre-owned vehicles, aimed at covering different needs and budgets. On the service side, Key West Adventures operates a full automotive and golf cart repair shop, recognised as a NAPA Auto Care Center, offering maintenance, repairs, tyre sales, wheel alignments, and servicing for cars, trucks, golf carts, and shuttle buses.

For Race World Offshore, deals like this one form part of the infrastructure that keeps the Key West World Championships running each year. Teams, media, and support crews descend on the island for race week, and moving people and equipment around matters just as much as what happens on the water.

It follows a similar pattern to other local businesses that have come on board for 2026, including Keystar Construction, a Florida Keys-based builder now backing the event, and Blue Marlin Motel, which has signed on to give teams and fans a sponsor-backed accommodation option right on Duval Street.

There's no word yet on dates for the 2026 championships, nor any detail on how the partnership will show up on race day, whether that's branding, support vehicles, or something else entirely.

Key West has long been one of the marquee stops on the offshore powerboat calendar, drawing international teams and drivers to race in the warm, often rough waters off the Florida Keys.

More partnership announcements are likely as the 2026 event draws closer. For now, this one is about logistics rather than speed, the kind of behind-the-scenes support that rarely gets a mention on broadcast day but keeps the whole week moving.
