Boating in New Zealand is enjoyed by an increasingly wide range of people, and GoBoating.nz is committed to reflecting that in both our coverage and our organisation.

Coverage

We aim to represent the full breadth of New Zealand's boating community in our content, across all types of boating, all regions of the country, and all levels of experience, from grassroots and club-level boaties through to elite competitors. We actively seek out stories that reflect the diversity of who is on the water in New Zealand, including gender, age, ethnicity, and background.

Our organisation

As GoBoating.nz grows, we are committed to building a team that reflects the diversity of the community we cover, and to fair and inclusive practices in how we engage staff, contributors, and freelancers.
