Tudor Team Alinghi has opened applications for both its Women's and Youth America's Cup programmes, with the 38th America's Cup in Naples the target.
The initiative is built around what the team describes as the Alinghi spirit: athletes who perform at the highest level, remain grounded, and put the collective ahead of the individual. Rather than a development exercise, this is a genuine pathway designed to bridge the gap between youth-level competition and elite sailing's greatest stage.
Those selected will work within a world-class performance environment, logging time on the AC40 and making use of state-of-the-art simulator facilities. For any emerging sailor with ambitions at the top of the sport, the programme represents a tangible route into that world.
The eligibility criteria are precise. Only those holding a Swiss passport are eligible to apply. Candidates for the Youth category must have been born on or after December 31, 2000, while the Women's category welcomes female sailors of any age. Both streams require a solid competitive background and either an existing connection to foiling technology or a strong interest in it. Given the communication demands of racing at this level, fluency in English is also a requirement.
Applications should include a personal and sailing CV that clearly outlines foiling experience and conveys what the candidate would contribute to the Tudor Team Alinghi culture. The team is seeking people who can deliver high performance while maintaining a positive mindset and operating effectively in a team-first environment.
