FGI Yacht Group and flyExclusive have announced a partnership connecting yacht brokerage, charter and management with private aviation services, including an existing amphibious seaplane operation serving the Bahamas.
The companies announced the agreement as the Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show opened in late October 2026.
Under the arrangement, FGI customers can enquire about private flights for yacht visits, charter holidays and boat shows, while flyExclusive customers gain access to FGI's expertise in yacht sales, charter and new construction. The agreement also provides for shared client events, experiences and marketing activities, though no confirmed programme has been published.
A notable element is flyExclusive's existing seaplane service, introduced in 2025 before this partnership. The company operates a Cessna Grand Caravan EX amphibious aircraft based in South Florida, carrying up to eight passengers on private charters. Advertised departure points include Miami, Fort Lauderdale, Palm Beach and Naples, with destinations covering Harbour Island, Compass Cay, Highbourne Cay and the Abaco Islands.
The amphibious capability allows the aircraft to use suitable water landing areas as well as conventional airports, potentially simplifying the final leg of journeys to island cruising grounds. flyExclusive claims its service can reach the Exumas from South Florida in approximately two hours, compared with four to six hours using conventional travel arrangements.
FGI chief executive and co-founder Altea Llakmani Ritter pointed to how clients already move between the two modes of travel as the reasoning behind the tie-up. "Many of our clients already move seamlessly between private aviation and yachting, making this partnership a natural extension of how they travel and how we serve them," she said.
Commercial terms, preferential pricing and integrated booking arrangements remain undisclosed. The companies have also not detailed how referrals will operate or how bookings will be coordinated.
flyExclusive, founded by Jim Segrave in 2015, operates Cessna Citation and Bombardier Challenger jets alongside Caravan turboprops. FGI Yacht Group works across yacht sales, charter, management and custom construction, including projects with European superyacht builders.
