Emily Cook's Club Nautique de Versoix team has claimed the 2026 Swiss J/70 Women's League Finale, winning 11 of 16 races on Lake Davos to finish clear of the fleet on 25 points.
Davos Sailing Club hosted the finale on the mountain lake, where nine women's teams battled shifty breezes across three days of racing to complete all sixteen races. Several newer crews pushed hard against the class's established names, unsettling what had looked like a settled hierarchy.
It was very much a family affair aboard the winning boat, with Louise Cook, Rebecca Cook and Lucie Philipp making up the rest of the crew.
Stephanie Rosse's Yacht Club Luzern squad took the silver medal on 31 points, winning nine of their sixteen races. Rita Krummenacher, Bianca Schmidt, Sabine Brodbeck and Doris Ammann rounded out that team.
Bronze went to Salvina Fries and her Regatta Club Oberhofen crew of Yvonne Marie-Jeanne Bemelmans, Karin Fankhauser and Lucie Bieri, who finished on 37 points. They were the only team in the regatta to count nothing but podium finishes in their scoreline, even though they managed just two outright wins.
Fourth went to Claudia Streuli's Yacht Club Zug team, made up of Katrin Anthes, Katja Hurlimann and Anna Herzig, on 40 points. Marina Osterwalder's Segel Club Zurich crew, with Sandra Meier, Andra Kuster and Jennifer Voser, rounded out the top five on 49 points.
