Brunswick Corporation has reported robust wholesale orders and record Mercury Marine outboard market share at the 2026 Cannes Yachting Festival, with the world premiere of the Navan C38 driving dealer confidence across the company's premium boat portfolio.
The Navan C38, the largest model in the Navan range, generated significant interest from dealers, customers and media throughout the festival. Brunswick said wholesale orders for Navan models significantly exceeded prior year levels, contributing to stronger overall sales than at the 2025 show.
Mercury Marine extended its European market leadership with 67 percent overall outboard engine share at the festival, up from previous years. At the Vieux Port location, Mercury accounted for 82 percent of outboards displayed on many of the show's largest and most premium vessels.
Navico Group announced in Cannes on 8 September 2026 a strategic partnership with Elettromedia, the Italian company behind the Audison and Hertz audio brands. The collaboration aims to create more seamless onboard experiences by combining Navico's marine electronics and vessel integration expertise with Elettromedia's audio engineering. Audison and Hertz will become Navico Group's preferred audio brands, while Navico's multifunction displays will serve as Elettromedia's preferred platform for marine applications.
"The momentum we experienced at Cannes reflects the strength of Brunswick's portfolio and the confidence dealers, customers and partners have in our brands," said chief executive David Foulkes, pointing to the Navan C38 launch, Mercury's outboard market share gains and the Navico partnership with Elettromedia as examples of the results.
The Cannes Yachting Festival 2026 featured almost 120 world premieres across the festival, including sixteen motor yacht world premieres, with nearly 535 new motor boats between 3 and 50 metres on display across two venues.
