Burnham boat covers and equipment protection products are now available in New Zealand through Aotearoa Boat Company, which has been appointed exclusive distributor for the American manufacturer.
Burnham produces custom-made covers for a wide range of rowing and surf ski equipment, including boat covers, rigger bags, erg covers, oar covers, and slings. All covers are handmade in the United States and can be ordered in custom colours with team logos, boat names, or other personalisation. The range covers every major rowing and surf ski boat brand and class from around the world.
A key material across the Burnham range is WeatherMAX®. WeatherMAX® 80 is a lightweight fabric designed to resist tears and abrasions without sagging over time. Its exclusive HydroMAX™ finish provides water repellency and mildew resistance while preserving the fabric's breathability, allowing moisture to escape from beneath the cover and preventing mould and mildew growth. The fabric is also fade-resistant, retaining colour over time in a way that nylon does not.
