The 58th Antigua Sailing Week will run from 21–25 April 2027 with a restructured format that moves away from traditional harbour racing toward point-to-point sailing around the island.
Organisers describe the new approach as "more relaxed, more adventurous" with daily destinations, time ashore and beachside activities replacing the former week of concentrated competition. Sailors can choose to race, rally or cruise, with overnight stops at different locations each day.
Entries are already open; organisers are pitching the event as "four unforgettable days of sailing" that expand the on-water experience to include more of Antigua's coastline.
For those seeking dedicated competition, the Antigua Racing Cup will run separately from 17–21 March 2027. This earlier event focuses on performance racing along the south coast with CSA and IRC dual scoring options, based at Nelson's Dockyard.
Sailors planning the 2027 Caribbean season now have two distinct options a month apart: the competitive Antigua Racing Cup in March, followed by the reformatted, more cruising-oriented Sailing Week in April.
