BoatOne, Tudor Team Alinghi's AC75, has arrived at the team's new base in Bagnoli, Naples, as preparations continue for the 38th America's Cup in 2027.
The yacht left Genoa on Saturday night after undergoing modifications to bring it in line with the revised AC75 class rules. Given its exceptional dimensions, the convoy travelled under cover of darkness, breaking the journey with a daytime stop in Montepulciano before continuing on to Naples the following night.
It arrived at the new base at approximately 5.30am on Monday, where team members were waiting to welcome it.
By 9am the yacht had been carefully moved into the shed. Once safely inside, the protective wrapping came off to reveal BoatOne's new black livery, though the rest of the design remains under wraps for now.
Structural testing was completed earlier this year. BoatOne will now undergo final preparations, with the commissioning process including checks of the yacht's systems and equipment ahead of its return to the water.
The team is targeting its first sail in December, with the initial sessions focused on testing the yacht and refining onboard procedures.
