Italian shipyard Wider has secured strategic investment from OceanWorld Group, a GCC-based marine services company, with the transaction finalised through a capital increase entirely subscribed by the new investor.

OceanWorld's gradual entry into the shareholding structure of Wider Luxembourg S.à r.l. is expected to be completed by the end of 2026. According to Wider, the investment will fund plans to expand its product range and international sales network while keeping its operations based in Italy's Marche region.

The collaboration began at the 2025 Monaco Yacht Show with the unveiling of the Oceans Yachts brand and the *Oceans 47*, the first model developed with Vripack Design Studio.

Marcello Maggi, board member of Wider Luxembourg S.à r.l., described the deal as "a fundamental moment that certifies the value of our vision." He added: "It is not just a financial partnership, but a synergy of intents. OceanWorld is a partner that firmly believes in our growth path and the uniqueness of our products."

Lydia Pascarelli, CEO of OceanWorld Group, said: "We are excited to join Wider and contribute to its ongoing growth. We have closely followed the shipyard's evolution and look forward to supporting the brand's global development. We believe Wider is well positioned to become a benchmark in luxury yachting."

Founded in 2010, Wider is known for serial hybrid propulsion systems and operates facilities in Fano and Venice. Recent launches include the WiderCat 92, WiLder 60 and WiderCat 76. OceanWorld Group operates across the Gulf Cooperation Council through subsidiaries including Sunseeker Gulf, Galeon Yachts, Pearl Yachts, Autore DMCCO and Eastwind Gulf.
