Viking Yacht Company and sister brand Valhalla Boatworks unveiled four world premieres at the 2026 Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show, offering buyers markedly different approaches to offshore boating.
The largest debut was the second-generation Viking 70 Convertible, which replaces the established 68. At 21.59 metres overall with a 5.77-metre beam, the new model features revised hull geometry including changes to deadrise, chines and strakes. The cockpit expands to around 18 square metres, providing more working space for fishing operations. Hull number one carries twin MAN V12X diesels rated at 2,200 metric horsepower each. Viking anticipates a top speed near 43 knots, though independent performance figures have yet to establish that. Buyers can specify open bridge, enclosed bridge or sky bridge arrangements.

Viking also introduced two Sport Coupe variants that share hull platforms with existing models but offer protected helm positions beneath substantial hardtops. The 64 Sport Coupe, built on the 64 Convertible hull, features a full-width windscreen, air conditioning and direct cockpit access. Preliminary testing suggests speeds approaching 45 knots with twin 2,200 metric horsepower engines. The smaller 50 Sport Coupe joins a range that already includes Convertible, Billfish and Open variants, giving owners four distinct deck arrangements on the same 50 Series hull platform.

Valhalla's contribution, the 46 Sport Yacht, diverges significantly from its diesel-powered stablemates. The 14.20-metre outboard cruiser can be specified with triple or quadruple Mercury V12 Verados and offers a cruising-focused layout with opening side balconies, a summer kitchen and flexible pilothouse options. The stepped V hull comes from Michael Peters Yacht Design.
All four models were announced in September ahead of their public debut at the show, which ran from 28 October to 1 November.
