The RowSUP has been updated for its second generation, giving rowers a lighter, more portable alternative to a traditional skiff ahead of summer.
Storage, transport, and finding suitable water are the usual headaches for rowers without a dedicated shed and a trailer. The RowSUP is designed as a way around all of it.
It's an inflatable stand-up paddleboard fitted with a folding rowing rig, so owners can switch between paddling and rowing in minutes, with no tools required. The whole setup packs down into two easy-to-carry storage bags, making it simple to store at home or transport in the car. A sectional scull option, which breaks down in half, makes oar storage and transport easier still.
It's an affordable way to own a rowing craft without the cost and logistics of a traditional skiff. The RowSUP is also around 10kg lighter than a typical coastal rowing boat, and more stable, since it won't fill with water the way a coastal rowing boat can. That makes it easier to handle, load, and transport.
Pricing runs from $3,795 incl GST for the Board & Rig Package up to $5,999 incl GST for the full package. A Rig Station is available separately for $2,000 incl GST, with Sectional Sculls priced at $1,845 incl GST.
The new second-generation RowSUP brings a few refinements over the original, including a contoured carbon seat and updated connection points for the rowing rig.
