UK bedding rivals battle for Southampton show attention

Kiwi readers can't enter this one, but it's a handy window into how UK marine bedding suppliers are jockeying for attention at Southampton this year.

Ship Shape Bedding, which makes bespoke luxury bedding for yachts and motorboats, is running a giveaway at the show to mark a new partnership with mattress maker ViSpring. The prize is a full set of luxury bed linen, custom-made to fit the winner's own motorboat or yacht in their choice of fabric, valued at more than £1,000.

Ship Shape Bedding calls itself the premier provider of bespoke luxury bedding for yachts and motorboats. Its new tie-up with ViSpring, announced earlier this year, pairs that claim with a mattress maker known for handcrafted, natural-filled mattresses.

Entries are being taken at the Ship Shape Bedding stand, H88 in New Wave Hall, for the duration of the show. The winner will be announced on Monday 28th September.
