Italian builder TYKUN will unveil its new 12.9 metre flagship tender at the Monaco Yacht Show in September. The XII combines a top speed above 50 knots with accommodation for weekends aboard.
The XII can be configured as a chase boat, dayboat or weekender. TYKUN offers Low Bow and High Bow layouts. The Low Bow version has a walkaround deck with an open-plan cabin and separate bathroom. The High Bow configuration does without the walkaround deck, creating more interior space. Both versions have fold down bulwarks at the stern, which convert the cockpit into a beach terrace with direct access to the water.
The hull is built from 5000-series aluminium by MED Group, a builder that specialises in vessels for navies, civil enforcement agencies and special forces. The hull has stepped geometry, a hybrid fender system and a raised bow profile. TYKUN says the design improves high speed efficiency and makes the boat safer and more comfortable in rough conditions. Engine options comprise twin 400hp, 450hp or 600hp outboards. TYKUN claims a top speed above 50 knots.
Twin 650 litre fuel tanks give the XII a maximum fuel capacity of 1,300 litres, along with up to 300 litres of freshwater capacity.
Italian naval architect Tommaso Spadolini designed the XII from a concept developed with Benedetta Iovane. "The result is a boat that remains dynamic and purposeful, yet offers a more refined cruising experience," Spadolini said.

The XII follows the smaller TYKUN X, which debuted at Monaco in 2025. It is currently under construction on Italy's Adriatic coast ahead of its Monaco debut in September.
