Romain Pilliard has been forced out of competitive mode after a collision with Violette Dorange's IMOCA, Initiatives Coeur.
The skipper of Use It Again, racing in the Vintage Multi class, suffered damage to one of his trimaran's floats in the collision. With the float compromised, Pilliard has no choice but to head for port, likely Roscoff.
Dorange, for her part, has continued on her way unaffected.
