Tickets on sale now for Auckland and Sydney SailGP events in early 2026

1 min read

Auckland's reputation as New Zealand's unofficial home of sailing will be firmly on display when the city hosts the ITM New Zealand Sail Grand Prix on 14 and 15 February 2026. The waterfront will transform into the City of SailGP, with fans gathering to watch high-speed foiling catamarans race just metres from shore.

Spectators heading to Auckland can choose from a range of ticketed experiences at the Race Stadium, including a Waterfront Grandstand with elevated seating and a Premium Grandstand offering prime views with all-inclusive food and beverage. General public tickets for the Auckland event are now on sale.

Two weeks later, the racing moves across the Tasman for the KPMG Sydney Sail Grand Prix, scheduled for 28 February to 1 March 2026. A fixture on Australia's summer sporting calendar, the Sydney event draws large crowds to its harbourside venues. Spectator options include Premium hospitality on Shark Island, official spectator boats for on-water viewing, and Dockside access at the Tech Site with behind-the-scenes entertainment.

Tickets for both events went on sale today, marking the start of the countdown to two major weekends of SailGP racing in the Southern Hemisphere.
