Brunswick Boat Group, a division of Brunswick Corporation, has secured three of the recreational marine industry's most prestigious honours, with Sea Ray, NAVAN, and Princecraft each earning recognition for design, innovation, and on-water performance. The accolades come from independent judging panels on both sides of the Atlantic, covering everything from compact surf boats to aluminium fishing craft.
The three awards cut across different market segments and were decided by separate judging bodies in Europe and North America, a spread that underlines Brunswick Boat Group's standing as a designer and builder of recreational boats across a wide range of disciplines.
"These awards reinforce what our teams focus on every day, creating boats that move design forward, elevate the on water experience, and meet the real needs of today's boaters," said Brenna Preisser, President, Brunswick Boat Group. "Having three distinct brands recognised by respected industry judges around the world is a strong validation of our innovation strategy and the talent across our portfolio."
Boot Düsseldorf, widely regarded as the world's largest watersports trade fair, provided the setting for two of the three wins. Sea Ray's SDX 270 Surf claimed the European Powerboat of the Year 2026 title in the compact sports boat category. Judges highlighted the model's seamless integration of wakesurf technology within a premium dayboat platform, pointing to its versatility, comfort, and surf-focused design as the qualities that set it apart.
Also at boot Düsseldorf, the S30 from NAVAN Boats took top honours at the Motor Boat Awards 2026, winning Best Weekender up to 40 feet. Following extensive sea trials, judges praised the S30's performance, build quality, innovative cockpit layout, and refined cabin design in a highly competitive category.
The third award was decided in North America, where Princecraft's Platinum 190 received a 2026 NMMA Innovation Award at the Minneapolis Boat Show. The judges acknowledged the model's advanced hull design, next-generation helm ergonomics, and angler-focused layout, recognising the Platinum 190 as setting a new benchmark for aluminium fishing boats.
The three wins point to Brunswick Boat Group's capacity to deliver category-leading products across the dayboating, premium cruising, and fishing segments, with consistent recognition from leading international juries.
