What a season it turned out to be for Wajer Yachts. From the HISWA show in the Netherlands to their private Cannes Rendez-Vous, the SOC Weekend in Sardinia, and the Newport Boat Show, the brand threw itself into some of the most memorable events on the calendar. Three of those fell on a single weekend, making it the busiest stretch of the year. The season then closed with the Monaco Yacht Show 2025, where Wajer made a bold statement: the world premiere of the all-new Wajer 55.
The Wajer 55 is built around a straightforward idea executed with real conviction. An opening roof puts the choice in the owner's hands. Sun, wind, and open sky when the mood calls for it, shade and shelter when it doesn't. Either way, the yacht never sacrifices its elegance. The hardtop version, welcomed this month, brings that flexibility into a sharper and more refined package.
Before any crowd gathered at Monaco, the Wajer 55 had a more important appointment to keep. In July, after years of design work and months of construction, the yacht met open water for the first time. Sea trials are the moment when every ambition a builder has poured into a project faces its honest reckoning. For Wajer, the question was straightforward: would the Wajer 55 handle, balance, and perform to the standards the company had set for itself?
