Summer is almost here, and The Spit Boat Show at Fergusons Marina is shaping up to be the essential event for anyone serious about getting on the water this season.
The show brings together an impressive collection of globally recognised brands, with Axopar, Pardo Yachts, RAND, Grady-White, Capelli, Valhalla, Viking, Chris-Craft, Greenline Yachts, Azimut, and Candela all represented on the water. Whether your idea of the perfect day out involves a sleek Scandinavian adventure boat, a high-performance American sportfisher, or a refined European cruiser, the lineup covers the full spectrum of boating lifestyles.
Held at Fergusons Marina on The Spit in Mosman, NSW, the event runs across two days from 11am to 5pm on 13 and 14 September 2025, and entry is free. Away from the floating displays, a strong selection of marine and lifestyle partners will be exhibiting, with Awake Boards, Jobe, Club Marine, Fishing Station, Garmin, and Coast New Zealand among those rounding out the experience for boaters with interests both on and off the water.
Several highlights stand out for this year's show. Three models will make their Australian premiere at the event: the Axopar 29 Centre Console Crossover (CCX), the Grady-White 415 Freedom, and the Capelli Stradivari 52, giving attendees a rare first look at some of the most anticipated new releases in sportfishing and day boating. Axopar will also present its full current lineup on the water, stretching from the all-new 29 right through to its flagship 45-foot range.
Luxury day boat enthusiasts will want to spend time with the Pardo 50, a model that has attracted considerable attention for the way it balances performance with contemporary elegance. For those with an eye on more responsible boating options, both RAND electric and Greenline Hybrid models will be on display. Grady-White brings a strong fishing and family cruiser contingent, led by the 386 Canyon and 375 Freedom, while Capelli and Valhalla contribute high-performance options including the V41 and V55. Rounding out the display, the Azimut 60 Fly and Viking 46 are among the larger vessels set to turn heads across the weekend.
Sea trials are available at this year's show, though numbers are strictly limited and bookings are by appointment only. Anyone keen to get time on the water with a specific model would be wise to secure a slot well in advance.
