Ten young rowers have been invited to the 2026 Beach Sprint Development trials at Orewa Beach on Saturday, 18 July 2026, with Sunday, 19 July held in reserve.
The U19 Women's invitees are Elizabeth Keddell, Emily Pengelly, Millie Brookes, and Tallulah Kubaisi-Gallagher. The U19 Men's list features Arthur Crimmins, Guy Smith, Henry Johnston, Leonardo Bacchus, Jacob Haley, and Kaine Goonan.
The open development trial list will be announced separately, delayed until midday on Monday, 29 June.
There is no cost to attend the trial. Athletes are responsible for arranging their own accommodation, food, and transport.
All trialists must contact Michael Brake at coastal@rowingnz.kiwi by midday on Friday, 26 June 2026, to accept or decline their invitation. Trial and camp information will follow on acceptance.
The pre-trial camp is optional for open athletes. U19 athletes are expected to attend unless an exception is granted by the GM Performance.
