Vixens Key West has been confirmed as the official late-night party venue for World Championship race week, giving competitors and fans somewhere to unwind once the boats are back on the trailers.
The club will run after-hours parties from 10pm until close on three nights during the event: Monday 2 November, Wednesday 4 November, and Friday 6 November. Vixens itself trades seven days a week, but these three dates carry the official race week branding.

Entry is complimentary for two groups: VIP guests presenting valid passes, and race team members wearing official credentials, wristbands or team shirts. For travelling Kiwi crews heading to Key West, that means turning up in team kit actually pays off at the door.
Inside, the offer is fairly standard big-event nightlife fare: VIP tables, bottle service, and entertainers described as coming from around the world.
A shuttle service will run after each of the three parties, or guests can arrange a pickup by phone on (561) 696-5284.

Offshore powerboat events have long run on a mix of adrenaline on the water and socialising once the engines are cut. Key West's World Championship week is one of the biggest fixtures on the Race World Offshore calendar, and for New Zealand teams and supporters making the long trip to Florida, the social side of race week is often as much a drawcard as the racing itself.
For now, the announcement covers only the after-dark side of race week. As the organisers put it, the races bring the excitement, but Vixens brings the nightlife.
