Finnish builder Botnia Marin has unveiled a Coupé version of its recently launched Targa 37, replacing the flybridge with a streamlined fixed roof to reduce overall height while preserving the model's offshore capability.
The Targa 37 Coupé addresses a practical limitation of the standard model: bridge clearance. The lower profile suits operators navigating restricted waterways or marinas with height limits. Inside the pilothouse, a large opening roof hatch and glass roof panel maintain natural light and headroom.
The Coupé joins the standard Targa 37, which made its world premiere at Uiva Flytande in Helsinki in August 2026. That model marked the first complete redesign of the 37 since 1998, with a new hull, increased beam to 3.75 metres, hull gates for improved everyday usability, an enlarged galley and refined interior layout.
According to Botnia Marin, the Coupé is built on the same platform as the standard Targa 37, which offers five twin-engine Volvo Penta D6 configurations from 680hp to 960hp total output. The standard model delivers top speeds of 36–44 knots and cruising speeds of 30–36 knots depending on power selection, with fuel capacity of 1,350 litres.
Botnia Marin will bring the Targa 37 Coupé to boat shows across Europe and the United States this Northern Hemisphere autumn, giving prospective buyers a first look at how the fixed-roof design compares with the flybridge original in person.
