Tek Tanks will be running live demonstrations of new radar-based tank level sensors at this year's Southampton Boat Show, with the Simarine STR1 and STR2 on show at stand BO14 Quay Side.
Both units use precision radar technology to measure water, fuel, grey water and waste levels, with no probes, floats or moving parts. The sender mounts on top of a plastic tank. No drilling required.
Automatic tank-height detection handles calibration, and setup runs through the Simarine Connect app via Bluetooth.
The two models differ in how they connect to the rest of the boat's systems. The STR1 offers analogue integration with up to three existing gauges alongside the Bluetooth app, while the STR2 provides native NMEA 2000 connectivity for use with modern multifunction displays.
Designed and manufactured in Slovenia, both units are compact and aimed at bringing radar-level sensing to an accessible price point.
