Preparations are gathering pace for the next round of the UIM F1H2O World Championship, with the Advance Program for the Grand Prix of Shanghai-China now confirmed.
H2O Racing is again teaming up with the Shanghai Baoshan District People's Government to stage the event in the waterfront Baoshan district, the same stretch of water where Jonas Andersson claimed his only Grand Prix win of last season.
The paddock is already being set up ahead of its official opening on Saturday, October 3, when driver registration and technical scrutineering will take place.
Racing gets underway the following day, Sunday, October 4, with a busy schedule of on-water action. Two Free Practice Sessions are scheduled for 8am and 9.30am local time, before Qualifications get underway at 12.15pm.
The first points of the weekend will be decided on Sunday afternoon, with two Sprint Races set for 3.35pm and 4.20pm. The winners of those races will head to the podium for the awarding ceremony at 4.45pm.
The Grand Prix of Shanghai-China itself takes place on Monday, October 5. A warm up session runs from 10am, followed by the parade lap ahead of the Grand Prix's start at 3.05pm.
Once the race concludes, the winner of round three of the 2026 F1H2O World Championship, and the driver who marks the sport's racing return to China, will be crowned in the closing awarding ceremony.
