Sanlorenzo Yachts UK has appointed Joe Hill as Senior Sales Broker and Brokerage Director, bringing a former professional captain into its senior team as the Italian yard's British operation targets growth in the 100ft-plus yacht sector.
Hill joins from a British motor yacht manufacturer where he spent 11 years in luxury yacht sales, developing specialist knowledge of the large yacht segment. He has almost 30 years of experience across the marine industry, beginning with several years as a professional captain aboard yachts before moving into sales.
"His extensive experience across the luxury yacht market, combined with his time as a captain, gives him invaluable insight into the practicalities of owning a larger yacht," said Nick Hatfield, Managing Director of Sanlorenzo Yachts UK.
Hill will represent the full Sanlorenzo and Bluegame ranges while expanding brokerage activity in the larger yacht market. He will work with clients through the yard's 'co-creation' design and build process, where owners collaborate on bespoke specifications.
"Sanlorenzo's reputation for design, quality and bespoke yacht building is well established, and I'm looking forward to being part of the team," Hill said.
Sanlorenzo Yachts UK, part of the Ancasta Group, holds the representation for Sanlorenzo and Bluegame in the UK and Ireland. Hill will be based at the London showroom on Park Lane, Mayfair, from 1 October 2026.
