The 2027 Sanctuary Cove International Boat Show has recorded its strongest opening sales period in history, with 199 exhibitor applications submitted in just four weeks.

The result follows successive sold-out shows and strong 2026 sales that prompted organisers to open applications earlier than ever. Major on-water exhibitors expressing intent to exhibit include Maritimo, Riviera, Horizon Yachts, Princess Yachts, Whitehaven Group, Azimut, Caribbean, Sunseeker, Jeanneau, Leopard Catamarans and Leigh-Smith Yachts.

On-land exhibitors span Mercury Marine, Volvo Penta, Raymarine, Garmin, Fliteboard and Victron Energy. Organisers report growing demand for larger displays and rising international interest from brands seeking entry into the Australian market.

SCIBS General Manager – Events & Partnerships Corey Rattray-Wood said exhibitors valued the show as both a commercial marketplace and international launch platform. "There is a real sense of excitement around bringing new releases to the 2027 Show, along with strong interest from global brands looking to use SCIBS as an entry point into the Australian market," he said.

Princess Yachts Australia will stage its largest Southern Hemisphere display, including the Australian debut of the new F55 following its world premiere in Düsseldorf in January. Volvo Penta will showcase hybrid-electric and fully electric propulsion solutions alongside its IPS Professional Platform, with interactive displays and VR experiences. Pantaenius Sail & Motor Yacht Insurance will mark 15 years at SCIBS with its biggest presence yet.

The 38th Sanctuary Cove International Boat Show runs 20–23 May 2027 on Queensland's Gold Coast. Research by Griffith University estimates the event generates more than $400 million in exhibitor sales and orders, contributing to a $471 million combined commercial and tourism impact.
