The Royal Maas Yacht Club celebrated its 175th anniversary with three days of festivities on and off the water. More than 850 people attended, and the event was televised on national TV.

The Royal Ocean Racing Club was represented at the celebrations by Commodore Deb Fish and Honorary Secretary Richard Palmer, reflecting the close ties between the two clubs and their shared commitment to offshore racing.

Royal Maas entered a team for the 2025 Admiral's Cup, the international team event revived by RORC. The club is expected back for the 25th edition in 2027, an event New Zealand has won before and one worth watching.
