Rowers eyeing up new footwear ahead of the season have a fortnight-plus window to save, with Bont Rowing's full shoe range discounted by up to 20 percent throughout November.
The sale runs from 2 November to 1 December and covers the entire Bont line-up, from entry-level club shoes through to the brand's top-tier performance model. It's billed as the only sale Bont runs all year.
Bont shoes are designed and built specifically for rowing. Each model uses a lightweight carbon fibre Split Sole chassis and an anatomical foot shape, aimed at delivering comfort, stability and efficient power transfer through the stroke. The range suits rowers at school, club or masters level, as well as elite and representative athletes.
At the top sits the Bont BR1, built for rowers wanting excellent support, comfort and adjustability. It uses the BOA® Fit System for a secure, precise fit that can be quickly adjusted, paired with the carbon fibre Split Sole chassis for a direct, stable connection to the boat. Normally $413.50, it's discounted to $330.80 for November, a 20 percent saving.
Below it sits the BR2, which balances performance, comfort and practicality. It features the same carbon fibre Split Sole chassis along with a secure dual Velcro strap closure, giving good foot support and stability throughout the stroke. It's pitched as a strong option for club and competitive rowers wanting quality footwear, and drops from $358.25 to $286.60, a 20 percent saving.
Then there's the BR3, a versatile shoe offering comfort, support and performance at a more accessible price point. It has a simple strap closure and breathable construction, making it a good fit for school rowing programmes, clubs and individual rowers wanting reliable performance. The BR3 is down from $220.50 to $198.45, a 10 percent saving.
Clubs and schools planning bulk purchases should take note: bulk and team order discounts are suspended for the duration of the promotion, with sale pricing applying only during the promotional period.
Once 1 December passes, pricing reverts to normal, so rowers after a deal would do well to get their order in before the window closes.
