Riviera unveils Belize 55 Daybridge at Newport debut show

Riviera will bring two new luxury motor yachts to the Newport International Boat Show in Rhode Island, headlined by the world premiere of the Belize 55 Daybridge alongside the Newport debut of the Riviera 4300 Sports Express when the show opens on 17 September 2026. Both models will be on display at Dock S2.

The Belize 55 Daybridge is the standout of the two, marking a global first for the brand. Riviera says the model answers strong demand for its Belize collection, blending traditional Downeast styling cues with contemporary design and handcrafted finishes.

"Belize offers a refined balance between the understated elegance of Maine's Downeaster tradition and Australian blue water pedigree, brought to life through masterful design, premium finishes, exotic timbers and handcrafted cabinetry," said Riviera owner Rodney Longhurst.

Twin Volvo Penta D11 IPS 950 engines power the 55 Daybridge, with joystick manoeuvrability and offshore capability among its stated performance features. The Daybridge layout adds an elevated social area with lounge seating, a wet bar and a helm station, while the aft deck and saloon are designed to combine into one indoor-outdoor entertaining space.

A hydraulic swim platform, water sports garage and integrated barbecue are also included. Below decks, the yacht sleeps guests across three staterooms and two bathrooms, with a full-beam master suite aimed at extended cruising. Onboard systems include Sentinel remote monitoring, integrated cameras, Starlink connectivity and optional stabilisation. Riviera says production of the model will be limited.

The Riviera 4300 Sports Express, making its Newport debut, is pitched at owners wanting flexibility between day boating and longer trips away. The model is fitted with twin Volvo Penta IPS engines and joystick docking control.

"With our Sports Express you get so much more boat for 43 feet. We offer exceptional access to the water at the stern to allow for all water sports, excellent protection from the sun and rain on the main deck, fabulous outdoor living on the foredeck, and luxurious accommodation in two private staterooms. Plus, this is a Riviera so it's a real blue water boat that is built to last," Longhurst said.

"This is a luxury motor yacht with a genuine sense of fun. Everything about the design encourages owners and guests to relax, explore, entertain and stay out longer."

Its features include an articulated boarding platform that converts into a sea deck for swimming and water sports, a single-level sports deck with a wet bar and alfresco dining area, and a forward sun deck. Accommodation includes a master stateroom, a separate guest cabin and a full galley. The boat also carries Riviera's Sentinel monitoring system, CZONE digital switching, integrated cameras and lithium iron phosphate batteries.

"Whether it is the timeless sophistication of the Belize 55 Daybridge or the versatile water sports lifestyle appeal of the 4300 Sports Express, both yachts reflect Riviera's commitment to creating exceptional experiences on the water," Longhurst said.
