Riviera is sending 14 luxury motor yachts to Florida for the Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show, running from October 28 to November 1, headlined by the Americas premiere of the new 6200 Sport Yacht Platinum.
The Australian builder's showcase will also include the Fort Lauderdale debuts of the 5600 Sport Yacht Platinum and the Belize 55 Daybridge, alongside a wider selection of models from Riviera's Sport Yacht, Sports Motor Yacht, SUV, Sports Express, Motor Yacht and Belize collections, ranging from 39 to 78 feet.
Riviera owner Rodney Longhurst said Fort Lauderdale is the company's largest international show and a key event for new model launches in the Americas market.
"We are proud to offer visitors to Fort Lauderdale the first opportunity in the Americas to experience our exceptional new 6200 Sport Yacht Platinum, together with our world-class collection of Riviera luxury motor yachts," Mr Longhurst said.
"Our showcase reflects Riviera's total commitment to quality, luxury, ease of boating and customer care. It is a unique opportunity for owners and boating enthusiasts to experience the finest yachts we have created over the past 46 years, all displayed together in one outstanding location."
The 6200 Sport Yacht Platinum offers three or four staterooms with three ensuite bathrooms and a full-beam master suite, along with an all-seasons aft deck fitted with an outdoor galley and dining area. It is powered by twin Volvo Penta D13 IPS 1200 engines producing 900 hp (662 kW) each.
The Belize 55 Daybridge, styled on the classic Down East yachts of Maine, features three staterooms and two ensuite bathrooms including a full-beam master suite, powered by twin Volvo Penta D11 IPS 950 engines at 725 hp (533 kW) each. The 5600 Sport Yacht Platinum, also powered by twin D11 IPS 950s, offers three-stateroom accommodation and a hydraulic boarding platform.
Also on display will be the 4300 Sports Express, Sport Yacht Platinum Edition models in 5600, 6000, 6200 and 6800 configurations, SUV models in 465, 505 and 585 sizes, Sports Motor Yacht models in 50, 58 and 64 Series II variants, the flagship 78 Motor Yacht, and Belize 55 and 66 Daybridge models.
Riviera will again run its Festival of Boating for owners during the show, offering four days of training and education including Ladies' and Skippers' Courses, yacht care and maintenance, coastal seamanship, engine room familiarisation, and masterclasses covering Garmin, CZone, Volvo Penta IPS, stabilisation systems, radar and weather. A signature owners' social event is also planned.
