Clearwater Beach hosted the biggest weekend in the 17-year history of the XINSURANCE Clearwater Offshore Nationals, with more than 90 teams across 14 classes turning out for two days of racing off Pier 60. Race World Offshore put upwards of 65 boats on the Gulf of America each day, September 26 and 27.

Clearwater counted toward both the APBA National Championship Series and the UIM XINSURANCE World Championship for Class 1, Class 2, Super Cat and Super Stock. It also hosted make-up races for classes that missed out when bad weather shut down the Great Lakes Grand Prix in Michigan City.
Some crews were simply untouchable. Myrick Coil and Tyler Miller swept both days in Class 1 aboard the Monster Energy/M CON Skater 418, running the five-mile course without real challenge. In Class 2, Team Montlick's Logan Adan and Giovanni Carpitella controlled both days too, winning Saturday's race by around 40 seconds.

Super Cat gave fans the best fight of the weekend. Dirty Money took Saturday's win, but a mechanical issue opened the door for CR Racing to strike back on Sunday.

That Sunday race didn't finish cleanly, either. EWB Racing rolled at turn one, bringing out the red flag. Both crew members walked away unhurt.

Super Stock was the deepest field of the weekend at 16 boats, and it produced contrasting results. Cole Leibel and Gary Ballough in Raymarine took pole and swept Saturday's two Clearwater races, only for Nuff Said Bermuda to dominate Sunday's Michigan City make-up. Speed Marine, meanwhile, won both the Saturday Clearwater race and the Sunday Michigan City make-up.
The bracket classes drew big fields too. Bracket 500 alone had 11 boats on the water, and breakout penalties there handed the trophy to Rufster.

Race World Offshore now turns its attention to the season finale, the 2026 Key West World Championships, running November 1 to 8.
