A rare public open day at Riviera's Coomera manufacturing facility is set for World Boating Day, Saturday 23 May 2026, giving visitors a behind-the-scenes look at how the builder's motor yachts come together.

Riviera will host a 90-minute guided tour starting at 11:00 am, opening up what it describes as the largest luxury motor yacht building facility in the southern hemisphere. Access of this kind is seldom available to the general public.

Owner Rodney Longhurst framed the occasion in the context of the company's history. "Over our proud 46-year history, we have launched more than 6,300 motor yachts that today are cruising the great rivers, lakes, seas and oceans of the world, and we have proudly developed the careers of hundreds of master craftspeople."

"This is a rare opportunity for visitors to see behind the scenes at Riviera and experience firsthand the people, precision and passion that define our yachts," Longhurst added. "Our world-class motor yacht collection ranges from 39 to 78 feet in length and spans five distinct model collections."

"We look forward to welcoming everyone to Riviera on World Boating Day, 23 May."
