Marine logistics specialist Pindar has been appointed Official Logistics Partner of the British Sailing Team, forming a partnership in the build-up to the Los Angeles 2028 Olympic Games.
The arrangement covers the complex movement of Olympic-class boats, equipment and support resources to training camps, international regattas and major championships worldwide. Pindar will handle transportation by road, sea, air and rail, plus customs management and ATA carnets.
Pindar described the British Sailing Team as "the world's most successful Olympic sailing programme." LA Harbour will host the 2028 Olympic sailing events, so logistics planning for the team's next four-year cycle is already under way.

The appointment builds on work Pindar already does in sailing logistics, including transport for professional sailing teams, yacht and boat movements, and expedition support, as well as past logistics work at grassroots and international class association level.
