Italian performance yacht builder Pershing has expanded its Sport Utility Yacht range to four models with the arrival of the GTX90, a yacht that carries forward the GTX series' defining ambition of combining genuine speed with expansive outdoor living spaces.
Measuring 27.97 metres and certified to CE Class A standard, the GTX90 was developed through a partnership between Vallicelli Design and the Ferretti Group's Engineering Department, with construction handled at the Ferretti Group Plug and Mould facility. The yacht made its public debut at BOOT Düsseldorf, with first delivery scheduled for July 2026 and a global premiere set for the Cannes Yachting Festival in September.
Power comes from twin MAN V12 2200 engines producing 2,200hp apiece, driving a pair of Castoldi TurboDrive 600 HCT waterjets. Early figures put top speed at 35 knots and cruising speed at 30 knots. For owners who prioritise comfort at anchor, optional twin Seakeeper NG18 gyroscopic stabilisers are available.
The sportsbridge on the upper deck covers 33 square metres, a figure Pershing describes as 43% more space than the class average for yachts of comparable length. Three zones divide the area: a sunbathing space at the stern, a dining section amidships sheltered under a hardtop, and a forward helm station.
On the aft main deck, Pershing has rethought the fold-out side terraces found on earlier models in the range. Where the GTX70 and GTX80 deploy their terraces alongside the swim platform, the GTX90 opens them at cockpit level, pushing the widest point of the beam further aft. Total outdoor surface area reaches 37 square metres, with a large sunpad positioned between the terraces and a below-deck garage capable of housing both a tender and a jet ski.
Connecting the cockpit to the main saloon is a five-panel door arrangement, comprising one fixed panel and four that open. Inside, a show kitchen with a bar counter occupies the aft port corner, while a formal dining table accommodating up to eight sits opposite. Further forward, a central lounge is built around an L-shaped sofa, and a three-seat helm station provides dual side-deck access to the foredeck. A dayhead is offered as an optional extra.
Guest accommodation below decks is arranged across four cabins, each with its own en-suite bathroom. The full-beam master suite sits amidships, a VIP cabin occupies the bow, and the remaining two cabins offer one double and one twin configuration. Crew quarters, complete with a full galley, are located between the master suite and the engine room.
The GTX90's exterior wears a Pershing Anniversary Silver finish and features the near-vertical bow profile and subtly convex sheerline that identify every member of the GTX family. The interior continues the sport-luxury character of the range through hexagonal patterning, alternating deck slats, integrated lighting, and consistently applied premium materials.
With the GTX90 now confirmed, the Sport Utility Yacht lineup stands at four models: the GTX70, GTX80, GTX90, and the flagship GTX116.
