Palm Beach Motor Yachts has confirmed its return as an official partner of the 2026 52 Super Series, reaffirming its commitment to Grand Prix sailing across some of the Mediterranean's most celebrated yachting venues.
Widely regarded as the pinnacle of Grand Prix sailing, the 52 Super Series draws together the world's most accomplished owners, elite crews, and the most technologically advanced racing yachts afloat. For Palm Beach Motor Yachts, the partnership is a direct expression of the company's core identity rather than a marketing exercise.
At the heart of that identity is Palm Beach XI, the brand's Supermaxi racing programme. Competing in genuine offshore conditions, Palm Beach XI serves as a live development platform where concepts including foil development and hydrodynamic efficiency are tested under real competitive pressure. Insights gained there are subsequently refined and engineered into every production yacht the company builds.
Throughout the 2026 Mediterranean series, Palm Beach XII, a Palm Beach 65, will be on hand at each event to host owners and guests. Cruising in the high 20-knot range, the Palm Beach 65 can move between series destinations, including Valencia, Porto Portals, and Porto Cervo, without refuelling, with extended offshore passages to Lanzarote also within reach. Palm Beach states this efficiency is up to 60 per cent greater than that of comparable yachts in its class.
The company was founded in 1995 by CEO and Chief Designer Mark Richards, a nine-time line honours winner of the Rolex Sydney Hobart Yacht Race and an Admiral's Cup winner. Under Richards, Palm Beach Motor Yachts has been built on the conviction that meaningful innovation is earned offshore, under pressure, and over time.
