There is something refreshing about a crew that arrives at an event having already built a following before the first sail is raised. The team aboard Thistle have done exactly that, channelling their enthusiasm into a social media presence that has been turning heads well ahead of the start gun.
Their energy is infectious, and now they are putting it to work as part of the Go Boating NZ on-the-water reporting team, filing updates from wherever the race takes them, from the start line all the way through to the finish.
Perhaps the most charming detail is that the young mate featured in their video is not a first-timer. This is already their second PIC Coastal Classic.
