Gen 2 and Cougar lead the points after two races, while Espresso Engineers sets the pace in Superboat 600 and the 100 Mile category.
The first championship points picture from Gulf Harbour gives competitors an early indication of where they stand in the 2026/27 New Zealand Offshore Powerboat Championship.
The NZ Offshore Powerboat Association (NZOPA) has published results covering two races, with several boats already establishing useful leads across the sports and offshore categories.

Championship standings still have plenty to reveal
The Gulf Harbour results establish the early order, but the championship remains open. Several boats have recorded points in only one of the two races, while others have already built their totals through consistent results.
The 60 Mile category is particularly competitive on entry numbers, with 12 boats listed. Beyond the leading three, SKR holds fourth on 488 points, followed by Chindit on 404 and Gipsy Danger on 316.
