Twenty years after the Sport Yacht concept that started it all, Riviera has announced the world premiere of its 6200 Sport Yacht.

The original 3600 Sport Yacht debuted in 2005, collected multiple awards, and grew into what became the Sport Yacht Platinum Edition Collection. The 6200 is the latest evolution of that lineage.

Riviera owner Rodney Longhurst described the design philosophy underpinning the new model. "It embodies four essentials: timeless styling, luxurious single-level living, effortless blue-water performance and ease of operation," he said. He added that the 6200 reflects "Riviera's leading-edge boat building expertise and more than 45-years heritage launching over 6,300 handcrafted, luxury motor yachts."

"I am so proud of our Riviera team, and while you may think we're a little biased, we believe this new 6200 Sport Yacht is pure magic."

Central to the 6200's appeal is a new-generation hull design that Riviera says delivers living space without compromise throughout the boat. Below decks, buyers choose three or four staterooms, all served by three ensuite bathrooms. The full-beam master suite has a king-size walk-around island bed, and a utility room provides a dedicated laundry. A tender garage accommodates a 3.6-metre RIB with outboard attached, launched and retrieved via a roller and winch system, with additional space for two Sea Bobs, a stand-up paddleboard, and a Scanstrut air compressor station for inflatables.

On deck, the aft entertaining area centres on an alfresco galley fitted with a side-by-side BBQ grill and hotplate, stainless-steel refrigeration drawers, an icemaker, and a wet bar. An electric sunroof, retractable TV, and motorised blinds complete the setup. Port and starboard wing doors provide direct access to raised fixed jetties, and the electro-hydraulic swim platform articulates into steps as it lowers, creating easy water access at anchor.
The main saloon galley includes a three-element induction cooktop, multifunction oven/microwave, dishwasher, full-height refrigerator, freezer drawers, wine cooler, and a bar and serving station. Three lounge areas sit within the saloon, including a U-shaped dining setting with a fold-away solid timber table and an L-shaped companion lounge at the helm.
The helm features a curved glass windscreen and touchscreen navigation. Three joystick control stations give the skipper low-speed manoeuvring and docking control from the helm and from both port and starboard positions on the aft deck.
The 6200 Sport Yacht is presented as a Platinum Edition model, the higher specification tier within Riviera's Sport Yacht range.
