Najad 451 AC makes UK debut at Southampton after five-year absence

1 min read

Swedish yard Najad is back at the Southampton International Boat Show after more than five years away, with SE Yachts bringing the UK premiere of the Najad 451 AC (Aft Cockpit).

It is the first time the model has been shown in the UK. Earlier this year the 451 AC was named Top Yacht 2026 by German sailing magazine Segeln, following a judging process that included extensive onboard inspections and sea trials. The panel, focused on practical cruising and offshore ability, recognised the yacht's seaworthiness, craftsmanship and suitability for long-distance sailing.

The 451 AC is an aft cockpit development of the Najad 451, featuring a large twin-helm cockpit and push-button sailing, with a handcrafted mahogany interior sleeping six across three cabins. Rigging can be specified to the owner's preference, from in-mast or in-boom furling to a full-batten mainsail on a Park Avenue boom.

Built in vacuum-infused sandwich construction, she continues a bluewater pedigree of more than 2,000 Najads.

SE Yachts, the exclusive UK dealers for Najad Yachts of Sweden, will show the 451 AC on berth M440, alongside the Arcona 435 Mk II and the Delta 33 Coupé.
