Team Drogba Global Africa has claimed its first E1 victory in Monaco, with Kiwi Micah Wilkinson and his Spanish teammate Tara Pacheco combining for a strong performance across both finals at Port Hercule.
It's a big turnaround for the team, whose best result heading into Monaco had been seventh at Lake Como. The win has lifted them to sixth overall in the Championship standings.
Both finals went Drogba's way. Pacheco drove Final 1, crossing the line just ahead of Emma Kimiläinen's Brady E1 RaceBird. Wilkinson took the wheel for Final 2, holding off Sam Coleman. Timmy Hansen rounded out the podium in third for Sports.com Predict Team Miami Powered by Magnus, the team's first podium in 13 races.
Wilkinson was also recognised individually, taking the PIF Pilot of the Day award for his Final 2 performance.
Team Brady came home second and, with it, claimed the Championship lead for the first time this season, moving nine points clear of Will Smith's Westbrook Racing by Visit Angola team. Team Monaco had set the fastest qualifying time and were leading early on, but a wrong turn on the course sent them into the Place Race. Will Smith's team won that race to limit the damage, leaving Westbrook seventh at the end of the day.
The event was hosted at the Yacht Club de Monaco, the Championship's third visit to the Principality.

We now head to Angola, Africa, for the next round as the Championship battle intensifies."
The series now heads to Southern Africa for the first time, with the E1 Luanda GP 2026 in Angola scheduled for 12 to 13 September.
