Miami International Boat Show 2027 makes room for change

New exhibitor incentives, improved transport and more attention to affordable boats are among the changes coming to Miami next February.

The Miami International Boat Show returns from 10 to 14 February 2027, with organisers making several changes to address the cost of exhibiting and the practicalities of getting around the show.

Announced by the National Marine Manufacturers Association (NMMA) on 23 October, the improvements include new exhibitor incentives, better transport connections and a dedicated display for boats priced below US$150,000.

Taking some of the cost out of exhibiting

Getting a boat to an international show is rarely cheap. Freight, accommodation, staffing and display costs can quickly mount, particularly for smaller manufacturers testing an overseas market.

Miami's organisers are introducing incentives through the Informa Partner Program, giving eligible exhibitors access to potential savings. NMMA members will also have an exclusive early hotel booking window, intended to help with accommodation costs and availability.

Smaller boats find their place at Miami

Pride Park, beside the Miami Beach Convention Center, will gain a new Progressive Entry Point featuring boats priced below US$150,000.

It's an interesting addition to a show better known for its substantial motor yachts. Giving more affordable boats their own display should make comparisons easier for buyers who have little interest in the superyacht end of the market.

A Discover Boating education hub will offer advice from boating experts and organised show tours. Families will also find a new Kids Zone.

Improving the connections between venues

Miami's exhibition stretches across several locations, so moving between them takes some planning. A new water taxi route will connect Herald Plaza/Venetian with Maurice Gibb Memorial Park, supported by additional shuttle services during busy periods.

The four main exhibition venues remain the Miami Beach Convention Center, Pride Park, Sailor's Cove and the Miami Beach Yacht Collection on Collins Avenue. The latter two were introduced as part of the 2026 changes and return next February.

Organisers are also expanding their international promotion, particularly in Europe and Latin America, hoping to attract more buyers and industry visitors.

Miami remains an important showcase for marine manufacturers, with new boats and equipment regularly making their first public appearances. Aquila's planned 50 Sail catamaran debut at the 2026 show was one example.
