Mercury Marine, a division of Brunswick Corporation (NYSE: BC) and a global leader in marine propulsion systems, has announced a set of leadership changes intended to strengthen its presence in key international markets.
Enrique Bolanos has been named General Manager for Australia, New Zealand, and Asia, stepping into a position left vacant when Brad Zoelle moved on to become president of Boston Whaler. The appointment sits within Mercury's broader strategy of cultivating senior talent from within and channelling that expertise toward markets earmarked for growth.
Bolanos comes to the APAC role off the back of four years with Mercury's Latin America organisation, where he most recently served as General Manager. Across that period, he was central to delivering market share gains and revenue growth, building a reputation for disciplined leadership and consistent results.

"Mercury has a tremendous legacy of innovation and customer focus in the APAC region, and I look forward to working with our talented teams to further grow our business and serve our partners and customers."
Before joining Mercury, Bolanos accumulated leadership experience across a range of prominent global organisations, among them Johnson & Johnson, Abbott Vascular, and Marriott. That breadth of cross-industry background is expected to prove valuable as Mercury works to raise its profile throughout the APAC region.

Alongside the APAC announcement, Mercury confirmed further changes at the senior level. Raquel Silva has been named as Bolanos' successor, taking over as General Manager for Latin America. Silva brings considerable regional knowledge to the position, having previously served as Sales Leader for Latin America and, before that, as Finance Leader for Latin America, a role she held while based in Brazil.
