Marcel Descoteaux has officially taken the wheel of the R-113 Another One, joining Beaudoin Racing ahead of the 2026 season. The young driver hails from the Sorel-Tracy region and arrives with clear ambitions and a practical background in the sport.
Descoteaux is in his early twenties and already brings eight years of experience as a boat mechanic, giving him a solid grounding in the machinery and demands of racing. From a young age he was also involved in snowmobile racing, so competition is far from new to him.
His path to Beaudoin Racing runs through family. His father passed on a passion for racing, which eventually led Descoteaux to the team and to competitive boat racing.

A first test session is planned in Sorel in the coming weeks, with Descoteaux continuing to work actively on the boat in preparation. His goals for the 2026 season are measured and focused:
- Adapt to the behaviour of the boat - Learn to work effectively with the wing - Fully understand race procedures
Descoteaux has thanked Michel Beaudoin, his friend Louis-Alexandre Beaudoin, and his parents for their support and trust. He also singled out his major partner, Minéraux Mart, whose backing makes the campaign possible.
