Maritimo is making a welcome return to the Auckland Boat Show in 2026, and for the first time in many years the Australian luxury, long-range motor yacht builder will have two models on display. Representing the brand at the event is Motor Yacht Service Centre, the Auckland-based authorised sales partner that has built a lasting relationship with Maritimo over two decades.
Motor Yacht Service Centre, known as MYSC, operates out of Hobsonville Marina and is headed up by Dean and Glynis Ryder, along with their daughter Sophie and son-in-law Shanon Robertson. The business has provided aftersales servicing to Maritimo owners across New Zealand for 20 years and was formally appointed as a Maritimo consultant in September 2025. That long history with the brand has given the MYSC team genuine depth of knowledge and enthusiasm for Maritimo, which shows in the quality of support they deliver to owners throughout the country.
At the 25th Auckland Boat Show, running from 5 to 8 March on Jellicoe Harbour, MYSC will occupy a prime position on the marina. A clear marquee will ensure show visitors can take in both vessels without obstruction. "We are on the main thoroughfare near the entrance to the show and the two models will give people the opportunity to compare Maritimo to the other motor yachts on show," said Glynis.
The two models on display will be the flagship M75 Flybridge Motor Yacht and the M55 Flybridge Motor Yacht. The M75, named Illusion, will be open to Motor Yacht Service Centre customers and registered guests, giving them the chance to step aboard and experience the superb craftsmanship, innovation, and luxurious amenities that define the flagship model.
Shanon described the mood heading into the event as buoyant. "There is a real feeling of optimism and excitement about the upcoming show. The marine media and our client base are looking forward to getting on board the M75 to really appreciate the proportions and superyacht features."
The M75 is built for serious long-range passage-making. Twin MTU V10 1625 MHP engines, shaft drives, and a 10,000-litre fuel capacity give it the power and range to reach distant destinations with confidence. "The M75 opens up remote destinations for owners, such as Fiji or the South Pacific," Shanon continued. "The boat can easily handle long-range cruising because it is equipped with every mod-con and ultra-luxurious accommodation, large living spaces, and of course, all the power and performance for long-range cruising." There are currently five M75s in New Zealand, among them the very first, Talisman, which the MYSC team supports on its voyages across the Asia-Pacific.
Alongside the flagship, the M55 illustrates why it has become Maritimo's best-selling Flybridge model. Its long-range capability, expansive enclosed flybridge, and a layout that balances blue-water performance with refined, contemporary living have made it a standout across the range.

Once the boat show wraps up, the calendar stays full. The 2026 Maritimo Muster will see around 20 boats gather at Man O' War Bay on Waiheke Island for wine tasting, watersports, and the kind of camaraderie unique to boaties. Then, in early June, a fleet of like-minded adventurers will set off on a voyage to Fiji, pausing at protected Minerva Reef to fish along the way. Dean and an MYSC electrician will be aboard Talisman for that passage.
Shanon is clear about why Maritimos suit New Zealand conditions so well. "They're robust, well-built, they handle the heavy seas and the weather, and they're ideal for cruising to Fiji, or further. It's a real credit to Bill Barry-Cotter and the design and engineering experts at Maritimo."
Interest extends well beyond the larger models. Shanon noted that the anticipated arrival of the first Maritimo M50 Flybridge in New Zealand is already generating strong attention, with the smaller end of the range drawing in a new audience. "The 50 to 60-foot models appeal to new owners and introduce Maritimo to another demographic. They are equally practical for seasoned owners who want to downsize with all the luxury features of a larger vessel."
To better serve the growing Maritimo ownership base in New Zealand, MYSC is developing a new sales and servicing complex at its Hobsonville headquarters. The facility will include dedicated sales space, berths, and covered shed space, with completion targeted for summer 2026-27.
