Fourteen teams lined up in Mariehamn for the Finnish/Nordic J/70 Championship, hosted by Åländska Segelsällskapet, with sailors from the Finnish J/70 Sailing League dominating the open fleet and claiming every place on the top of the leaderboard.
Victor Mesterton took the title aboard *Liquid Sun*, sailing with Simon Karlemo, Emil Lindblom and Ville Varesmaa, on 21 points.
Silver went to Bjorn Hansen's *Piccoloorso*, crewed by Mathias Dahlman and others, on 26 points. Third was Lucas Karlemo's *Taito Sailing/Solid Fun*, with Sam Stenman, Livia Varesmaa, Atte Timmerbacka and Sandra Sonneborn aboard, on 27 points.
Henrik Lundberg's *Team Elving* finished fourth on 35 points, while Markus Ronnberg's *Alandia Sailing Team* rounded out the top five with 42 points.
There was no New Zealand involvement in this result.
