Leopard Catamarans is bringing two standout models to the Sydney International Boat Show this November, with the brand's Australia and New Zealand team set to welcome visitors at Cockle Bay Marina, Darling Harbour, from 13 to 16 November 2025.
Taking centre stage will be the all-new Leopard 46 Sail Catamaran, offered in both electric and diesel configurations, alongside the Leopard 46 Power Catamaran. The power model combines open-water capability with generous onboard comfort, while the sail version's electric option represents a meaningful shift in how bluewater multihull cruising can be approached.
The arrival of an electrically powered Leopard 46 Sail signals a new direction for a brand with deep roots in offshore multihull design. Quieter passages, reduced emissions, and greater efficiency are the practical rewards of this approach, and the model carries forward the design hallmarks that have defined the Leopard range: spacious interior volumes, ergonomic helm layouts, and hulls shaped for sustained ocean passages. That last element reflects the brand's continuing partnership with naval architects Simonis Voogd Design, whose input has shaped successive generations of Leopard cats.
Beyond the two models on the water, Leopard will offer a preview of the forthcoming Leopard 52 Sail Catamaran, the newest flagship in a range that has earned considerable recognition over the years. Full specifications and details are set to be released during the show itself, though early renderings point to a performance-focused cruising package that extends the brand's long-standing commitment to practical, long-range design suited to both private owners and charter operators.
That charter connection runs deep. With Sunsail and The Moorings among the organisations within its global network, and more than 50 years of design development behind it, Leopard Catamarans has cultivated a reputation for producing ocean-ready multihulls that attract seasoned bluewater sailors and those new to the cruising life in equal measure.
