Valencia will host the fastest sailors on the planet this weekend as the 2026 Rolex SailGP Championship reaches its tenth stop, with full crew lists now locked in across all 13 teams ahead of racing on September 5-6.
New Zealand fans have plenty to follow. Black Foils remain headlined by Peter Burling and Blair Tuke, with Leo Takahashi on flight control and Liv Mackay as strategist. Kate Stewart continues as reserve strategist, while Matt Stevens heads the coaching team alongside William McKenzie on the booth.
Kiwi involvement runs well beyond the home team. Andy Maloney is flight controller for Artemis SailGP Team, driven by Nathan Outteridge, with Sam Meech serving as coach and Freddy Bergstrom as assistant coach. At Red Bull Italy, driver Phil Robertson has a new voice in his ear: Sam Gilmour steps in as coach, replacing Tom Burton.
Los Gallos also carries a New Zealand stamp, with Hamish Willcox coaching alongside Simone Salvà under driver Diego Botin.
Elsewhere, the grid looks much as it has all season. Tom Slingsby continues to lead BONDS Flying Roos, partnered by Iain Jensen and Jason Waterhouse, while Dylan Fletcher's Emirates GBR side retains Stuart Bithell and Hannah Mills as strategist.
A handful of squads have tweaked their line-ups for Valencia. Germany by Deutsche Bank brings in Julian Hampe and Julian Hoffmann as reserves, while Artemis has added John Gimson to its reserve roster.
France's Quentin Delapierre-driven crew remains unchanged, as does the Brazilian team led by Martine Grael, with Paul Goodison continuing as strategist.
Switzerland's Explora squad, driven by Sébastien Schneiter, and the American team under Taylor Canfield both head into the Spanish leg with settled lineups, leaving the emphasis firmly on form rather than personnel as the fleet chases points in the tightening championship race.
