Every November, Key West transforms into the unofficial capital of offshore powerboat racing, and the organisers behind the 2026 World Championships are making sure the island's businesses get their due credit.

Race World Offshore has thanked the sponsors supporting the 2026 Key West World Championships, the event running 1 to 8 November that anchors the offshore racing calendar each year. Race week opens with the World's Fastest Boat Parade down Duval Street and runs through to the final chequered flag at Truman Waterfront Park. Organisers say none of it would happen without the local businesses working behind the scenes.

That support stretches across the island and beyond. Hotels and inns house the visiting teams and fans, restaurants and bars carry the nightly parties, and local builders, banks and medical providers keep race week running. Marine industry partners, meanwhile, help get the world-class boats on the water.

Special mention went to The Keys Collection, named as the event's official host hotel, along with the Monroe County Tourist Development Council for its continued support of RWO.

Organisers are encouraging anyone heading to Key West for race week to stay, eat, drink and shop with the sponsoring businesses listed on the event's Key West sponsors page. Every visit, they say, is a way of saying thanks.

There is no New Zealand sponsor named in this announcement, but the Key West World Championships remain a fixture on the international offshore calendar. Hotel bookings for race week are open through The Keys Collection, with the full sponsor list, covering everything from premier partners to food and beverage sponsors, published on the event's website alongside race week details.
