K-Challenge, the French Challenger competing in the Louis Vuitton 38th America's Cup, to be held in Naples, Italy, in Spring/Summer 2027, is seeking a freelance, part-time local Logistics Support person to join the team as soon as possible. The 38th America's Cup is the upcoming edition of the world's oldest international sporting event, featuring foiling AC75 yachts.
The successful candidate will work alongside the K-Challenge Operations Team to deliver a broad range of logistics support in the Naples area. Responsibilities cover organising accommodation, from property visits and contracts through to invoicing management, sourcing local suppliers, providing administrative support, and handling any additional logistics tasks that require local knowledge and fluency in Italian.
The ideal applicant will be a native Italian speaker with fluent English, based in Naples or the surrounding area, with a solid knowledge of the region. Previous experience in logistics is required, and a background in the sports or events industries is an advantage, though not essential. Strong team spirit, adaptability, and flexibility are important qualities for this role, as is the ability to travel readily around the Naples region, ideally by car.
The position is part-time, starting at two days per week for the first half of 2026, with further work anticipated beyond that period. The day rate will be determined according to experience. The role is Naples-based, with home office arrangements in place until the team base is established, after which a mixed working arrangement may apply.
